November 2025 - Kyle and Stelios published a paper that maps the prevalence of (high) support for initiatives protecting future generations, as well as intervention tools for increasing support in the United States, at Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
November 2025 - Stelios was part of a team that published a paper on how cultural humility can help reduce intergroup conflict at the Journal of Applied Social Psychology.
October 2025 - Kyle and Stelios co-lead a project mapping and increasing intergenerational stewardship beliefs at Scientific Reports.
October 2025 - Kyle published the first paper of his dissertation on the moral architecture of extraordinary and effective altruism at PNAS Nexus! Congrats Kyle!
October 2025 - Stelios was part of a large consortium that published a paper in Science Communication finding that social media are the most used sources of science information in most countries, except those with democratic-corporatist media systems where news media tend to be used more widely.
October 2025 - Stelios, Kyle, and collaborators from the Center for the Science and the Imagination received a small grant to study how an educational program focusing on future thinking can help veterans transition back to civilian life.
October 2025 - Kyle and Stelios together with collaborators from Boston College and Cornell University published a paper that expands the better than average effect for ratings of virtue in the British Journal of Social Psychology.
September 2025 - Kyle and Stelios co-led a multi-country team which published a paper on cross-national variation in moral expansiveness to nature and humans in the Journal of Environmental Psychology.
September 2025 - Stelios was part of a multi-country team which published a paper in Social Psychological and Personality Science, on the impact of macro-economic inequality on national stereotypes.
September 2025 - Stelios, Kyle, and collaborators from the Center for the Science and the Imagination received a small grant to study how educational workshops can increase imaginative capacity and future thinking in undergraduate students.
August 2025 - Kyle and Stelios were part of a multi-person research team which published a paper in the Journal of Individual Differences, on the association between self-reports of intergenerational concern and personal well-being!
August 2025 - Kyle and Stelios were part of a 5-person research team (together with researchers from Boston College and Michigan State University) which published a paper at Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, on the values that are reflected in obituaries!
July 2025 - Kyle, Zhaoquan and Stelios published a paper at Journal of Environmental Psychology which expands past work on responsibility to future generations by investigating the psychological mechanism in Europe and determining how perceptions of severe weather events influence responsibility. This was also Zhaoquan's 1st paper!
July 2025 - The TISP team led by collaborator Viktoria Cologna published a paper on extreme weather attribution and its impact on climate attitudes in Nature Climate Change!
